About robotvac.help
robotvac.help is an independent Australian site that matches robot vacuum models to your home using manufacturer-published specifications. It has no advertising, no affiliate links, no review scores and no sponsored placements.
Why this site does not rank anything
A ranked list implies the ranking came from comparing the products on the things that matter. Here, nobody — including whoever runs this site — has run any of these machines. A score published by a site that never touched a product would be a made-up number, and it is exactly the kind of made-up number that leads people to buy the wrong machine for their doorways.
So the site does the narrower, more honest thing: it takes the specifications each manufacturer publishes, and checks them against the conditions you describe. Where a manufacturer publishes nothing, the site says nothing rather than filling the gap.
What the matcher actually does
It is a set of comparisons, not a formula. For each model in the catalogue, it checks your budget against the published Australian price, your tallest internal step against the rated clearance, pet hair against the published anti-tangle system, your flooring against published carpet handling, and your maintenance preference against what the dock actually automates.
Each check returns one of four verdicts — satisfied, works with a trade-off, ruled out, or not published. A model appears in your results only if nothing rules it out. If everything gets ruled out, you get told which condition did it and by how much, rather than a “closest match” that fails something you said mattered.
It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is stored, and there is no account to make.
What this site does not do
- It does not review, score, rank or recommend a “best” robot vacuum.
- It does not test products. Every specification is copied from a manufacturer's own Australian page and dated.
- It does not carry affiliate links, so nothing on this site can be bought by steering you.
- It does not cover every model on the Australian market — only those whose manufacturer publishes the specifications needed to check them honestly (4 models as of 2026-10-04).
- It does not collect email addresses, accounts, or health information.
Where the figures come from
Each model page shows the manufacturer's Australian product page, the date it was read, and the wording the figures were taken from. The sources page lists them together. Anything the site decides rather than cites — the threshold safety margin, for example — is stated on the page that uses it.
Corrections
Prices change and specifications get revised. If a figure here is wrong or out of date, it should be fixed: note which page and which figure, and reach the site owner through the contact address published on this domain. Manufacturer corrections are picked up when the model pages are next re-checked.
robotvac.help is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any robot vacuum manufacturer or retailer. Brand and product names belong to their respective owners and are used here to identify the source of each published specification.
